My house is far from a university. It takes one hour 40 minutes by a train from my house to a university．I feel a lodging friend enviable.However, a friend says that "a single life is hard".It is a question to a person living alone. May I have lived alone? In addition, what is a hard thing? Please teach it.

Anyway, I don't think your house is not that far from your university! In my case, it takes about an hour to go to the university...but I decided not to complain about it anymore because commuting time enables me to read books. I've started feeling that being far from my university is not bad after I realized that fact.
My friends who live alone also say that living alone is hard. I think the reasons why they think so are that they have to deal with money and they have to make meals for yourself.
